As the host and actors prepare to create the perfect ambiance, they will require a light meal and a private space to change and store their costumes. We will bring a professional sound system if needed, and for larger events, we can even supply the perfect lighting and microphones.
To ensure your event runs smoothly, please confirm the venue, start time, and number of attendees, including male and female ratios and any special requirements. Let us know if you’d like simple costume accessories provided. We’ll create a unique story for each guest, tailored to their level of involvement. Major suspects will be questioned by our comic detective, witnesses will be questioned too but not crucial to the story, and the remainder can spread gossip and try to solve the mystery. We’ll send the character details as soon as you confirm the numbers, recommended at least one week before the event. We recommend giving guests enough time to read and feel comfortable before attending. Our nights are as adult or kid-friendly as you make them, not designed to offend anyone.

Arriving at least 30 minutes prior to the guests’ arrival, we meticulously set up the venue and ensure that the seating arrangements are perfectly in place. As the guests begin to arrive, they are greeted at the door by our actors, fully immersed in character, and handed personalised name tags. We encourage the guests to mingle, engage in gossip, and uncover intriguing details about each other’s characters.
Throughout the night, we divide the event into three 30-40 minute sets. Under the watchful eye of everyone present, our detective interrogates each suspect, seeking to unravel the truth. Improvisation is key, as the suspects may say anything to clear their names, keeping the suspense high and the guests on their toes. During breaks, appropriate music fills the air, creating a delightful ambiance while guests enjoy their meals or move about, continuing to gather information and share gossip.
As the mystery reaches its climactic conclusion, each guest is given the opportunity to ask questions and then write down their theory about the murderer’s identity. Some of these creative theories are read aloud, adding an extra element of excitement. Finally, we ask, “Will tonight’s murderer please stand up?” In a thrilling moment, the identity of the murderer is revealed, accompanied by applause. Simple prizes are awarded to those who dress up, correctly guess the murderer, and play their characters in an outrageous and entertaining manner.
But the night doesn’t end there. We continue to provide music for approximately 30 minutes after the mystery concludes, allowing guests to unwind and enjoy the atmosphere. If desired, we can even provide a sound system for dancing, ensuring the festivities continue long after the mystery has been solved (additional charges may apply).
